The project

Midgard Survivors is a free game made by nearQ (Pawgres Studios) from Chile. It has no purchases, ads or loot boxes. Donations are optional, help cover the project's costs and give nothing in the game.

It is offered as it is: it may change, reset the record boards (for example, for a new season or after a balance change) or stop being available at any time, with no right to any compensation. Nothing in the game has value outside it.

Rules for online play

Online co-op and Prontera online are for playing together. When you use them you accept these rules. It is forbidden to:

We may remove records made with cheats and, when needed, keep whoever breaks these rules out of the record boards and the online features. A trade both players confirm is final: we can't give back items lost to a mistake or to trusting the wrong person.

If someone bothers you or cheats, tell us at contact@midgardsurvivors.com with their name and tag (#XXXX) and, if you can, a screenshot. Reporting a bug is never punished; exploiting it is.

What data the game uses

You don't need an account or an email to play, and the game never asks for your real name. What it does use:

This data is stored by Supabase, the database service the game uses, for as long as the project exists, or until you ask us to delete it.

Online co-op and Prontera online

Rooms, quick party search and the Prontera channels use Epic Online Services (Epic Games, Inc.). The game signs in with an anonymous ID of your computer; you don't need an Epic account.

While you are in a room or channel, the other players there see your character's name, class, look, position and equipment, and the messages, whispers, trades and invitations you send. All of this goes between players in real time: we don't store it. To connect the players, Epic may share your IP address with the other players in your room or channel. Epic processes this data under its privacy policy.

Updates, download and this website

We don't sell or give data to anyone, and there are no ads, third-party analytics or profiles.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete what we have about you (for example, your records and statistics) by writing to contact@midgardsurvivors.com with your character's name and your tag (#XXXX), which you'll find in the record boards. We answer as soon as we can.

If you are a minor, ask your parents or guardians before using the online features.

Intellectual property

Midgard Survivors is a fan work, not affiliated with or endorsed by Gravity Co., Ltd. The graphics, maps, effects, sounds and music of its world belong to Gravity Co., Ltd. and their respective owners; no rights over them are claimed here.

The project's own work is the code of the game and of this website. The Lilita One and Nunito fonts are under the SIL Open Font License. The logos of X, YouTube and itch.io belong to their companies.

Notices from rights holders

If you hold rights over anything shown here, or act on behalf of whoever does, write to contact@midgardsurvivors.com telling us what concerns you. A normal email is enough. We will remove whatever you ask, a part or the whole game, as soon as possible and within three days at most.
